As you may already know, Applications built on CloudIO Platform is 100% metadata driven. All the application user interface metadata is stored in the platform schema and all the application database objects & data are stored in the application schema.

To move the application schema from one database to another, you need to copy or move all the database objects along with the data (if required) to the destination database. Make sure to also migrate the below platform related objects as well from the application schema

CloudIO Platform Objects in Application Schema

SEQUENCE
RA_LOG_S;
TABLE
RA_FILES; RA_LOG; RA_OBJECT_ATTRIBUTES ; RA_ROLES; RA_USER_ROLES; RA_AUDIT_HISTORY; RA_USERS;
VIEW
RA_AUDIT_HISTORY_V
PACKAGE
RA_GLOBAL; RA_GLOBAL_PUB;
Note: If you have any uploaded attachments in your application that needs to be moved as well, you must move the table RA_FILES along with the data

After successfully migrating the schema, navigate to Administration -> Setup and update the DB URL, DB Username & DB Password to point your application to the new database schema

Note: Bounce the application server or clear the cache for the changes to take effect
Note: If you move the platform metadata schema, then make sure to update ra.properties to reflect the new database connection properties
